About our Buildings
Overview

Our library renovations - big and small - aim to improve and enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the library experience. In the spirit of Andrew Carnegie, who donated $5.2 million to New York City in 1901 to build a comprehensive branch library system in the five boroughs, BPL wants to preserve and enrich the environments where our diverse community accesses books and information and seek to enhance their own lives.
