Please note: Due to the holidays, there will be no bookmobile services at Fort Hamilton Library on:
- Wednesday, December 24, 2008,
- Monday, January 12, 2009,
- Monday, January 19, 2009,
- Monday, February 16, 2009, and
- Monday, May 25, 2009.
On Wednesday, December 31, 2008, the bookmobile will provide service from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
BPL's
newest "neighborhood library" is our Bookmobile, a traveling collection that will
bring the library to communities who have been affected by temporary library closures.
At 32-feet long and 11-½ feet high, it has enough space to house up to 6,000
books.
Check out the latest New York Times best-sellers, or find a paperback for adults,
young adults or children - with a small staff, satellite technology and two laptop
computers, the Bookmobile offers most of the services you'll find at any other
neighborhood library. Stop by to sign up for a library card; reserve, check out
or return a book, or read reference materials.

out when the Bookmobile will be in your area.
Note: Fines may not be settled at the Bookmobile.
